Tolstoy + Tea | Farewell 2016

It's raining outside.

I'm sitting by the backdoor, sipping tea and reading Tolstoy, listening to the rhythm of the drops as they land outside with a gentle "tap."

Has the rain come to wash away what's left of 2016? Will it sweep away the sweet memories of Bowie and Leonard? The wild nights in the desert and the sandy beach afternoons? The weddings and funerals and birthdays? The shock and panic over Donald Trump's surprising Presidential win?

A Year Of Questions

Where is my place in the "yoga world"?

To have kids, or not to have kids?

How should Nathan and I start planning for our financial future?

How does one go on without David Bowie? Prince? Leonard Cohen?

Is reconciliation possible in such a divided nation? And how can I help heal the wounds?

Where am I of the most use? How can I serve my world?

Tolstoy + Tea

I am taking these questions with me, into 2017. I know the answers will surface.

But for today, I am ok with my unsolved mysteries.

Tolstoy and tea are all I need.

And You?

Has this been a year of questions or answers for you? I'd love to hear from you:

What do you wonder? What do you know?
