Grapefruit + Ginger Smoothie
It’s March. Spring is just around the corner. The sun is shining. Ariana is on repeat, singing “we gonna be alright” (because we are). Grapefruits are in season—and strawberries and apples.
So many mood lifters.
Ingredients
1 grapefruit, peeled and seeded
2 cups hulled strawberries (fresh or frozen)
1 sweet apple (I use Honeycrisp), cored and chopped
1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
1 cup coconut water (or sub regular water)
Make
Pour all ingredients into your blender and blend until it looks like a smooth slushie.
Makes 2 smoothies, so you can share or save the second in the fridge until you’re ready for it.
