Trikonasana in Real-Time

When you strip away the hyperlapse editing, and the song, and the sequencing, and the storytelling,

you’re left with your body,

on a mat,

in a pose,

breathing.

That’s getting a little closer to the truth of the matter.

You don’t heal the body by giving it an even longer list of things it can’t do.

You heal the body by moving it, incrementally, toward a more aligned and expansive version of itself.

Patience. Love. Attention.

This is my real-time practice.

If I could only practice one pose for the rest of my life, Trikonasana would be a contender.

My work here continues.
